Need a good high quality set of drill bits

I've got a new to me shop that is "L" shaped. I would like to have a curtain or tarp to seal off the wood and metal working area from the rest of the shop.

Ceiling is 10' and it is a 20' run that I need to seal off.

I was thinking of getting a decent tarp and some sort of commercial curtain hardware that could handle the weight into the ceiling and then be able to zip the 'curtain' closed when I run the saw or grinder etc.

Any suggestions or ideas? I also thought about just using a long piece of pipe but don't think spanning 20' with no middle support will work.

Thanks for any input!

Jason

have you thought about using a light cable where you were going to use the pipe, using a lightweight turnbuckle you could keep it taunt, also, not sure if I'm following you but you could thread the cable through the tarp eyelets to hang is and push/pull like a curtain, I've done this in horse barns

Depending on how tight a seal you want they make plastic curtains with zipppers (for a door) they are used in carpentry and mold asbestos removal.

You could perm. mount the tarp plastic whatever to the ceiling and attach the bottom to another pipe then roll it up when your done and drop the bottom pipe in j hooks hanging from the ceiling

Great ideas. I hadn't thought about moving the tarp up and down to open and close.
Also, I had thought about the cable, but wasn't sure I could get/keep it taunt enough for a tarp 10' x 20'...
I don't expect to keep it 100% dust/particle free.
If I can stop 80-90% that will keep my reloading area clean enough for what I'm trying to do...
Keep the ideas coming!
Thanks,

I would just go with a tarp or some 10 mill, I'm guessing on the size from memory, plastic sheeting to let light thru if you needed it. You can also get adhesive velcro put one side on the bottom the other side on the top and it will stick together when you roll it up. if you do this in a few spots you can "adjust how low you let the curtain down. Air flow on the hot days

I did the same thing years ago t my old shop. we put a cable up with a turn buckle and hung tarps from it using go thick zip ties. it was a good 16 feet high and front to back was about 50 ft and it worked great for years.

You could use those thick vinyl strips, ( 4"-6" wide ) they use in warehouses that you can walk or drive a forklift through.
