2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission shopping for 2002

Dealer 50 miles away has the truck I want. Local dealer is 2 miles away. Would I get a better deal buying truck direct from dealer who has truck on lot? Or just as good from local dealer who will have to swap trucks?

That is a hard question to answer. When dealers do a "trade" or a transfer, they lose part of their holdback money. They also have the added exspense of the swap-out. After seeing some of the car jockey's racing each other down the highway while delivering brand new cars between dealers, I'd be willing to spend a few extra $$'s not to have them get their hands on it. Warrantee or not, it just goes up my*** to think about somebody abusing my vehicle before I even get sit in it.

You could always offer to pick it up from the transferring dealer.
