Who was it that PM'ed BIG?

Anybody here have a full knee replacement?

Yes after I posted, I realized that's pretty normal. I was thinking about the NY safe act and ANY transfer, even private must be done through a local FFL.

Being that I live in a Commie state, I guess I've gotten used to the heavy thumb of the government.

I'm totally okay with background checks. It doesn't prevent from bad guys getting guns but It might slow em down some.........In theory.

What sets me ablaze is gun registration. If I meet all of the legal requirements to purchase/posses firearms that are legal in my state, WHY must I register by serial number each and every firearm I purchase? WE all know the answer to that and recently, some eastern states have felt the wrath of registration. Flippin' COMMIES!

Same in NY City not so in the rest if the state. Pistols are a whole different harrasment!

When my father-in-law retired from the Army, keep in mind he retired as a Col., he wanted to purchase a pistol when he moved back to NY. I'd have to ask him again what the exact process was, but it took months just to get permission to purchase a handgun let alone get a permit to carry. Not that this should surprise us in any way, but he found the entire process insulting, especially for someone of his background.
