ANy one know of an easy way to trace a short circuit? I have a short somewhere in my power mirrors circuit that keeps blowing a fuse. I must have nicked a wire when I put them in. It there an easier way to check other then pulling out the wires (stock wires) and physically looking at them? I "Know" there probably isnt but I'm grasping for an easier (less frustrating and time consumming)way of fixing this.

Thanks

A very sensitive volt or ohm meter will help. the closer to the short the lower the voltage (live circuit) or the lower the Ohms (dead circuit) will be.

There are some inexpensive ( relatively :D ) meters that are just for finding shorts at good auto stores.

Have you gone over your work to make sure you tapped into the right wires. I've done that more times than I like to admit.
