Here I am

Short notice dyno day for RMTDR in Ft Collins

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Winter get together and farewell for Uncle Mike

Colorado Springs TDR members....

Sticks, the injectors are back in:D :D

I'm going to work on the water meth and the wastegate today. Truck feels much stronger with new clutch, I suspect the stocker was slipping more often than I thought.

Shoot Matt, that seems like all the more reason to run!!!

Just got done checking in on the ford club, they are getting pretty proud of themselves.

I just might give those rollers a shot.

Jeff, you think there's another 100 horse in there between the clutch and the meth? That would be amazing with the HX 35, it would truly be a dyno queen as I can't hardly use the power without the pyro swinging faster than my tach.

I need more air!!:(

Matt

I agree with Matt, the Ford guys finally think they have "broken the upper limits" of power with these Swamp injectors they have out now. I think as RMTDR members (i'll consider myself one to the grave as long as you guys have me!! ;) ) we have a duty to take our trucks to the next level. Its funny I just found these little fake tattoos I bought for all my outside Account Executives. It says " Shut up and Sell!!" and has a pic of a blabbing mouth crossed out. Someone needs to make a tattoo for these PSD guys that says "Shutup and get schooled!!"

Tax time is here!! Ok, tell the wife you have a duty as an RMTDR member to uphold the rules of power and smoke til death do you part or something like that. As a full member of the RMTDR you must better yourself as a cummins owner and a man. You NEED to make large increases to your HP at this time and any tax return that you may receive needs to be used not for new house decorations or a couch but for

A. Larger injectors

B. Bulletproof Drive train

C. Twin Turbos

Bottom line, a streetable truck that makes in excess of 600 hp with the flick of a switch.

Now... ... ... if indeed you owe Uncle Sam money this year :{ :{ That is ok, under section 42 line b, subparagraph 1, in size 0. 01 font it says "Any owner of a Dodge Cummins Pickup has the right to forgo any moneys owed to the US Government and use it for the purpose of upgrading Bombs on their pickup so as to better their quality of life and increase the horsepower of this righteous engine. "

Come on guys!!!

Ooops, gotta go... ... ..... I think I hear the IRS knocking on my door for that last statement. :D

Yea, they are puffin their chests up pretty good. ATTN everybody, read my post above for what we need to do!!

I wouldnt be suprised if you are in the mid 400s with your setup or maybe 500??? Yep, you need more air at this point for sure. Heck for the purpose of the exercise at the Dyno day have Dan get you a turbo off one of those big ole loaders and tach weld it up, you dont need exhaust to run on the dyno!! :D I saw your post about the twins questions. you and I are on the same page, I have talked to a few folks and the consensus is that the hybrid 40 and an HT3b would make nice twin combo and a small budget needed at that.

mgoncalves,

What size injectors do you have?

According to track times I am between 480 and 510hp on #2 only. I don't know how that would relate to a dynojet tho.

Also replaced my VP44 since those times were run, so I may have more or less HP.

Pencil me in. Time to spin the rollers and see what it says.

Stakeman,

They are stage three's or somewhere in the 100 horse neighborhood.

Check my profile for better details on the truck's setup.

Look forward to meeting you next week.

OK guys and gals, here's an update. The NCPSD club had to put down an $800 deposit to get the dyno for us, or rather Shay did (personal money - the club has no treasury to speak of). That boils down to 27 trucks. If we could at least meet half of that to help them out that would be choice. I will take a warm body count Monday morning to see how many Yeses and Mights we have to let them know.

Sticks

I will add to what Sticks said. These small clubs have no base as far as a treasury goes. Everything that the leaders in these small groups do, is without compensation, and sometimes costly. I have thought about asking for a small yearly fee to help with costs associated with putting together events, websites, and being able to do things as Shay has done with the powerstroke club. I would like feedback on this issue.

Not a bad idea Alex, for just a few bucks a year the club could really go to the next level. Heck, I would throw in $$$ to help the club out as well even though I probably wouldnt be around to much to see the ROI. If you fiquire there are probably 600 members or better in the RMTDR area and I would think you could get at least 35-40% willing to shell out literally a few dollars a year it would be a great thing for the club!!

:--) Wow it will be interesting to see what a "running" f**d looks like, thought that they were just like signs on a road, just drive by and look at them, seeing all the pretty colors. At least they make it to the roads, now duracraps on the other hand, well lets not go there.

I will be there and hope to run on the dyno. Put in a #6 plate(full forward) but not happy with the results. :( Little change over the stock plate. :( Any hints I can try before Sat? What looks like oil leaking is probably tears from the 7100, wanting to be timed. :{ If only money grew on trees. Will a stock clutch hold with a #6 and good timing, aggressive driving style included? Rear tires only last 5,000 miles right?

Hope the weather holds out, and there is a good turnout, one can never learn too much.

I put the day on my scheduler. I don't think that I should miss this if Richard is coming.

Oh, and another one from Greeley now has a B1KS on his truck. I'll get ahold of him to let him know.

See ya!

Sweet Bob!! Jeff and you should give a good showing there too!! Is Jeff still running the funny gas too?

I think all the high HP Dodges should find out who this guy is with the 520hp PSD and then make sure you all go right after him. That outta wipe the grins right off the PSD guys faces :D :D

Count me in for at least 1 truck and maybe mine. My cousin wants to have his dynoed (02 HO with Edge-Comp and AFE megacannon). I am supposed to get my trucks timing set to 16 degrees at Colorado Diesel Friday so if I can get that done I'll be there with my truck otherwise my cousin will be there. So does anyone know how to set the timing on the 12V's. I'd be willing to pay for someone to show me how...

BTW-I could bring my drum of methanol if anybody is interested in getting some of it... .

Count me in for 5 gallons!!!

sticks-you got it.

I'll bring the whole drum. Bring containers if ya want some, guys. $1. 56 a gal is what I got it for and what I'll sell it for.

PFI DYNO DAY

See all you guys at PFI:D I don't know if my truck is running right, it's been feeling kind down on power latley:( Hopefully the dyno will back-up what my SOP meter has been indicating.

I'm dying to see a Ford do 520 hp without blowing a head gasket or kicking out a Rod or two;)
