Ouch:-laf :-laf :-laf

If I remember correctly, R. ebel, there was a group of us that going to chip in and cover your next dyno run since you got burned at the last one here in Denver.

See you all in the AM!

Looks like we are a go!

Looks like we are a go!

Gonna be chilly. Anyone have a chameloen (portable heater)?

See every one there!

Cool:D The HP numbers will be a little low due to the cold but it will be the same for everyone. See you guys there!

Ummm... Should be higher. Cooler air, more mass, better burn.

Course my Water/Meth injection is not going to work for I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER.

I HATE winter!!!!

I get ready this morning and step out of my front door. It starts snow lightly so I think "OK some light snow nothing big". By the time I reach the interstate everything is white and I am slipping and sliding everywhere. Now I am thinking "Where did this come from? I am turning around". So I go the mall for a couple of hours and when I come out it is lightly snowing and the roads and clear. This just makes me    . Now I am sitting at home when I could be spinning the rollers and getting a good base line on my truck. I am still    .

I just got back.

Phenomenal turn out with the short notice and the weather. I left Ft Collins at 3:30 and there was still a fairly long line of trucks to run yet. I don't know the number of trucks that ran but I am guessing in the 40's. No 500hp breakers by the time I left, but several in the 490's

Shay with the NCPSD club will forward a link to the results page when it gets done.

Still can't feel all of my toes yet, but as always a real fun time was had by all.

This spring should be a lot of fun when they get the team event rolling.

C'mon guys fill me in more!! I was dying to be there!! What did Richard Ebel run? Did Bob Berends get to run?? sticks, how'd the water meth fair out for you? Highest HP PSD???

Well I did some research over on the local PSD site... ... Their mysterious Ford truck was no where to be found when it came time to cough up the proof... ... ... His response:

I just wasn't ready yet, things always take longer than expected when your waiting..... I have a few other things added and a few more that aren't quite finished yet, but should add a little more the the rollers

I guess I could have showed... just to spank the Dodge boys for the Ford team.

Yawn, Yawn... ... ... ... .

IIRC, both Stakeman and R. ebel were just a hair shy of 500-- 492-497 ish.

i don't understand that dyno. It seems to be really inconsistent. It rips off guys like Stakeman and R. ebel (both of whom have dynoed over 500 as I recall) and it gets REALLY generous with me.

By generous, I mean 390rwhp with just DD2s and an EZ. Torque was a tick over 900 (918 peak). Yeah, right.

At least I have a sheet i can use to brag to those who don't know that there are some dynoes that can't be trusted.

Despite the cold and wet, fun was had by all. it was kinda cool to see the Phord guys oo and ah when a PSD puts down high 200s for power (and 500s for torque) while you see the TDR guys disappointed when they ONLY make high 400s for hp and well over 1000 lb-ft.

I guess it's all what you're used to.

From Shay - NCPSD club

Thanks to all who braved the snow and cold to come out to PFI! Like Jeff said, we had a real good turnout for a last minute, throw it together dyno day held on a snowy day!

All in all, I think MOST people were happy with their numbers (yes I know you beat me MikeW ) and I was very happy about the attendance! We ran 31 trucks on the dyno, a good, equal number of Dodges and Fords, plus 1 Duramax. Lots of stock trucks and lots of modded trucks, good combination. The guys at PFI did a great job and of course, LaserBob was in the middle of it all, working his rear off, Thanks Bob (although I do still have little black flecks all over myself from your truck Bob! ).

I am sure when Jeff gets some time, he will post those results (take the day off from it tomorrow Jeff). A HUGE thanks to Jeff for keeping track of the dyno numbers on a cold day!

For both Jrandol and I it has been consistant for the numbers with a fair time frame (months) between runs, it also matches up to Dyno Pro here in Denver.

Might have been driver error that got R. ebel.

Yours may very well be right in line. How many runs did you do?

Properly functioning clutch, Stage 2 injectors, and timing.

Damn, I wish I could'a been there. Didn't get out of the hospital till about 1:00 p. m. so I couldn't have made it up anyway. Don't know how the ride up would have been in my 2wd truck, usually don't go anywhere in the snow. Oh well, I'll be there next time for sure. I'll see you guys at ATS next week-end for sure. Hopefully it don't snow or anything and we can do some smoke shows and burn-outs for the wishful on lookers. Who came out on top at PFI dyno???
