Short Notice Houston Get-together

Hey guys,

I know this is real short notice but, this weekend (Sept 1st) in Dickinson, MDW is going to be taking a bunch of the hot-rod parts off the ol Texas Red Rocket this weekend. I'm coming down and should be there Saturday morning around 9 or so to give him a hand. Anyone else interested in meeting down there and just having a little tech and BS session? He's got a 6000 sq. ft. building so we'll be out of the rain. Anyone is welcome to drop by.



Directions:

tank I-45 to Hwy 517

GO east on Hwy 517.

Take Hwy 517 to Hwy 3

Turn left on Hwy. 3 heading North

it's an old yellow building on the right.

There will probably be a red ex-cab 3/4 ton in front so you'll know your at the right place.

It is a short notice. I have reservations to be camping this weekend. I thought it would be kind of neat to get his rearend cover if he had his original to put back on. I think he has a 5 speed, should be a Dana 80, so should work on mine. Did he get another truck? I am planning to install my gauges the next weekend after this. TXram will be doing most of it. Maybe yall could come over, I'll fire up the pit and feed ya. I am about 20 minutes from where you are talking about.

That sucks, I lucked out this year, usually I work every holiday on the calendar. I've managed to get Labor day and Christmas off this year.
