Short Shift Kit

Has anyone with a G56 tried a "short shift kit" on their transmission to speed up the shifting a little bit? Its good driving, but the shift throws are long and it feels a little balky especially around town. I'm thinking about this mod for the truck.

Update: I spent an hour on Google last night trying to find such a kit for my truck but no luck. If anyone knows if a short shift kit exists for the G56 please chime in. Thanks...

I hope a vendor sees that there is a requirement and looks in to fabricating one. BD had one for the older style trani , but I mentioned to them how come on this one and they said that there was not the demand. ????

Practice guys practice. The G56 can be shifted fast enough as it is. You really dont need a mechanical advantage on this trans and the gears dont fight you like the old NV5600. Pull the shifter and I think that you will see why there is no short shift. The rails are right there! My daily driving 12v (yes G56) only loses 5-8 PSI of boost under normal driving. Even the other half thinks that the G56 drives like a sports car.
