Are you aware of any besides the BD unit?
Do a search, there's plenty of feedback. Would I do it again? Probably not. Look at the geometry, the shorter throw is achieved by reducing (your) leverage. That's not necessarily problematic, but there is no way that this change can improve the shift quality other than possibly shaving a few milliseconds off each gear change. It's still a big, heavy truck transmission. For me, there is exactly one true benefit. When I'm travelling and have the center seatback down and the laptop up for back seat entertainment, it is easier to shift (due to the shorter throw) given the awkward cab arrangement when the laptop is up.
Mine leaked pretty bad a couple of weeks after the install. When I took apart the shifter console again (always a PITA), I found the 4 top cover bolts loose. I'm pretty sure that was my fault, installation brain fade. I resealed it, tightened the bolts and all has been good since.
I have heard of some incorrectly formed spacers that leak, so GO_4LO might want to check with BD about that.
Cheers,
Neil
