Post pic of what you got so we can see what the "design" change was??? MIne was for a 2001-2002 and came with bushings, 4-bolts, spacer. No drilling is required. .

I think the new kits have smaller holes (bolt size) in the spacer plate instead of larger bushing size.

The newer kits come with a spacer (holes are small just for bolts) four allen head bolts, and the shift arm.



should be assembled in the following order:

install shift arm in shift tower

put rtv on rubber part of isolator

install spacer on shift tower with original bushings and allen head screws

put rtv on bottom of isolator

install spacer on isolator

put rtv on bottom of blue spacer

install spacer/isolator/shift tower assemble onto top of trans.



you decide if you want to pull up wire harness bracket and put under forward left bolt.

took longer to unhook my Bob V's super shifter than it did too install shifter.





If you have the old kit simply do not use the included bushings and follow the steps listed above.
