Shortages ?? what shortages??

I keep hearing from the media about shortages and I ask what shortage. Today again it was fuel and I ask where. Whenever I goto fill up there are no lines at any of the stations. the truckers are still moving goods across the country.

Food shortage last week and again I ask where. Its doesn't seem to be in any of the industrialized countries. Groceries stores have food etc. .



It seems the media doesn't check their sources or use common sense. Who feeds them these untruths or 1/2 truths? Not that these things aren't happening but they make it sound like its right here in the USA.



Maybe I don't understand but can somebody tell if I'm right or wrong. Thanks.

Your right, there are no shortages. At least not anywhere I've been ( IL, IN, MI, OH)in the last 6 months. And not in any of the states that some of my friends live in (PA, OK, CA, Wis, MO, NC, SC, NY,) ok i'll stop. But, I have friends and aquaintences in many states and nowhere have I heard of lines a stations waiting for fuel. In fact, if anything we have a bit of a surplus in my area. There are several stations competing for customers through price wars.
