I have tried searching the internet for a week or so no with little results. I am starting to look at getting a toy hauler and the ideal setup would be about 25' overall with a goose neck hitch but that doesn't seem to exist so 5th wheel would be the next option. I have found a few used KZ ones but they dont seem to make that model anymore and used ones are very hard to come by.

Does anyone happen to know who makes a short 5th wheel toy hauler or a company that could custom make one at a reasonable price? I know quite a few people in central Oregon looking for the same thing: fairly short overall length for maneuverability, a way to haul toys and comfortable enough to keep the wife happy!

Thanks!

I have came across a few that I may contact as all there websites have fairly limited info though the few that had prices listed were still 40-50k when done.

So far this is the closest I found which is pretty promising http://www.tricityrv.com/Inventory/...-KZ-Sportsmen-Sportster-Fifthwheel-265TH.aspx. I really like the pin weight as I do not want to deal with airbags.

Quick funny story, every RV dealer Ive visited looks at me like Caitlyn Jenner when I tell them what I want then asks what I drive, after I respond with a 06 Cummins they say oh you can tow anything lets go look at some 40' ers. Apparently they think every customer wants to push the limits of there TV and are not use to people that just want a nice setup well within the limits of there tow vehicle.

Thanks

I did actually price out a Balboa since there is a local dealer but haven't been able to see one in person.

They are built here in Caldwell.

They are decent trailer but the main bed area is shorter than most TC's.

A short 5th wheel toy hauler with enough space for the toys and THE WIFE does not exists. Accept that and life will be much better.

Trust me. We bought a smaller TH and quickly outgrew it within a year and upgraded. We went from a 24' bumper pull to a 36' 5th wheel and at times, the 36' feels too small. But then again, I'm the only man amongst my wife and two daughters so my opinion might be slightly biased.

Haha Well by toys I mean bikes and Kayaks so im not worried about a ton of room just stuff that would normally go in the truck. Anything over 30' is just to big for a lot of these central Oregon camping spots, and currently its just the Wife and I, neither are pack rats so should be OK...... I hope.

The biggest issue I was concerned about with a GN trailer was some of the tight corners I tow on. While a 30' GN is shorter overall (including the truck) than a 30' TT there are places a GN will turn too tight for.

You would be surprised some of the places I can get my 30' TT.

Well found this company https://dunesport.com/ , have talked with them on the phone and very easy to work with. They will do Aluminum framing which is great, 7k lbs axles on anything you want , goose neck hitch and just about anything else, good prices too. It will be a bit before I can actually order one but they have 5th wheel toy hualers starting at 24' which is pretty neat!
