Shot question

I was wondering, does any body know where can I buy bulk Steel Shot (at a good price)? Is the gun store the only place, or should just about any supply warehouse stock this item?



I am trying to make weights similar to sand bags, but I do not want the mess that sand makes. They are for inside use only.

why not use lead shot? i think it is cheaper then steel but not sure. $14~$16 for 25 pounds around here. but i get homemade shot for $10 for 25 pounds if you can find someone that does it, check local sporting clubs.
