As far as your 7000# trailer - you probably wont event know it's there.

Now That's What I'm Talking about!! I can't wait to hook it up and go but I have to sell my truck first and get some gauges so I'll have something to watch. Probably wont know what any of the stuff they're telling me means, but I'm going to heed to everyones advice and go Fuel pressure, EGT and Boost. Got a catalog from Geno's in the mail last night and it's already dogeared from me thumbing through it.

In order of importance to me:

FP

(whats the use of the others if your truck is dead on the side of the road?)

EGT

BOOST

Congratulations! You are going to love your new truck. amnewsom has given you the straight scoop on gauges. I used 2 bullet pod mounts on top of the dash right next to the pilar. Not much blind spot that way. I used the Westach combo boost/pyro & the FP unit to get by with just the two.

On your stock air box: remove the plastic snorkel to the fender well. That is just to small a tube for the job under heavy load. You can get a drop in filter from ProGuard for the box. Get the Pro7 as it cleans as well as the OE filter & passes much more air. PM me if you'd like a bargain on my used unit.
