After "freshening up" the pre-IP components, I went from 8psi --> 27psi! Keep in mind the pic shows a steady needle. In reality, it bounces from 26-28psi, at idle, before it's warmed up. [Gauge on top of a snubber on top of the fuel filter.] [I keep forgetting to check it at idle once it's warmed up! I'm assuming it doesn't change...]
Because I have the TorkTech OFV020, I have the ability to adjust fuel pressure. Should I lower it a bit in order to bring it down to spec [stock engine]?

I doubt it will hurt anything where it is. The one time I adjusted mine it started leaking so TorkTec sent me a new seal. Problem was, it started leaking in Great Falls, MT while I was enroute to Canada. I had to find a local shop who had a regular OFV and paid tourist price for it.

Okay. Thanks for the reassurance! I will keep things as they are.

At 2500rpm, she hovered at 36psi. [I took a reading at 2000rpm, but I ...errr... didn't write it down and have since forgotten it. *oops* It rarely pays to be in a hurry.]

Nothing wrong with that, there's guys running significantly higher pressure. On the dyno I noticed my power and fuel pressure dropped off around 450hp with the mechanical lift pump, it should have made much more but couldn't get the fuel in fast enough. I now run an electric pump in parallel with the mechanical, it only runs when I turn it on which is when I'm planning to hold it to the wood for a while.
