Here's my existing truck:
98. 5 2500 extended cab shortbed 4X4 w/ 4. 10
5spd manual with South Bend Con FE
24valve cummins with 3 week old VP44, lift pump and ECM
Van Aiken timing box
TST Powermax 3 adjustable
custom 4" exhaust to single 5" stack
BHAF
and alot of money tied up in both interior and exterior goodies
My plans were a bigger turbo and some stage 4 or 5 injectors.
Need help deciding whether to sell it to a friend of mine that wants it as is and buy me a 12valve or keep it. Im looking at another $2K for injectors and turbo if i keep it. Ive been considering an auto 12valve for 6 months or so. What kind of cost would I be looking at to bomb a 12vavle in the comparable or higher HP/Torque range of my truck assuming i had the injectors and a bigger turbo. The bomb bug hit me hard and I want a quick truck, but I dont want to go broke makin it that way, so if I buy a 12vavle Id lean toward an earlier 94 or 95 model. Help me out guys fire away let me have it thats why I asked.
