2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Should I trade up?

I'm thinking of selling my current 2001. 5, and trading up to an 04. It will only add a year, and $48 a month to my payments. And as a added benefit, I can get the 6spd that I desperately wanted when I bought my current truck... ... Whatcha all think?

I would trade up if the dealer is giving you atleast 2 percent under invoice when the deal is done. Also, try to stick with the non cummins 600



the new body sytle is nice and you will be happy im sure

The only bad thing about trading is you lose all the stuff you did to your truck. If you have the HO engine you already have 505 lbs. of torque vs. 555 for the '04 and 600 for the '04. 5. Noticible but not tremendous. If you like the noise keep the old one. I traded my '00 for an '04 and love it!

you are running your stock transmission?

If so, I'd trade just cause you have beat the crap out of the stocker. Take your mods off and sell here on TDR classifieds.
