should I Upgrade to win98?

Yes you can still get Win 98,but as far as upgrading much farther will be hard to do with that setup,XP needs more of a computer to work correctly,I dought it would work on that machine,you could go up to ME which is just the next step of Win 98,but 98 would work. Good luck

By the way www.newegg.com has Win 98.

Also Win 2000 is built on the NT Kernal and I dont think it would work with that older computer. .

I have XP!



I built a system that is big and fast.



MSI motherboard K7t 333mhz



AMD athlon XP 1900 processor.



512 MB Memory



100 GIG HD



76 GIG storage HD



50 X CD rom



CD Burner



It has some problems but I like the way you can view pictures as thumbnails when exploring. The defrag is fast,

It has locked up a couple of times while on the internet but not much problems.

I made the choice to go WIn 98. I did it last night. The upgrade is working better than expected, with all my machines programs following without a hitch! I then installed my Nikon camera software (which was the primary reason for the upgrade), and we're in business!
