3rd Gen Show Down! Who's got the best mpg AND power?

Just curious who is putting down high mpg's with your foot out of it AND can deliver big power on demand. Watcha got?

I'f we're talking third gens I'm doing fine. 20 mpg driving to an dyno event, dynoed 503 hp and drove home. Not bad for an 8000 pound lifted 4x4.

Awesome Scott! What size tire and gears are you running?

Currently stock tires with 3. 73's. Got a set of 36's in the shed that I can't get wheels for with the right offset but with those I'll have the final ratios I want to keep the cruise rpm's down.

I've hand calculated as high as 22, but it's usually 19-21 depending on cruise speed on an interstate. Max power #2 was 556, max on spray was 585 with a pretty small jet.

not sure exact hp (no dyno events lately) but I know its over 400 and I still get 27mpg normal and 19 at 85-90mph also lifted with 35's

this is off the overhead but it has always been pretty accurate (within one mpg) that is a regular number not a going down a hill and hit reset number

Pretty amazing numbers for sure, I thought there would be a 20mpg/400hp in there but not 20/500+ Holly smokes I gotta step up!

Pulling a snowmobile trailer with 2-3 sleds @ 65-70 MPH... I get 13. 5MPG. Help, someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?

You answered your own question. I picked up almost 2 mpg with a fueling box that advances timing, plus a little from open intake and exhaust. I was only getting 18 highway when my truck was new, and stock. That didn't last very long
