For the last couple of days, I haven't been able to log out (off) of the forums. I have changed no settings except to down load AOL 9. 0. I'm running two browsers, AOL and Micrsoft 5. 0. Comparing the two and will choose the one I like (and run only one). Thanks.

Is it AOL dial up? Even so Internet explorer is intergrated with AOl So they are both in the same. Just AOL puts its face on I. E. (At least that's how I remember it being) I have an open gateway so I don't use my AOL at all (Maybee to check the occasional E Mail or to DBL check if I need Xanex or somethin )

Unless you want to for a specific reason you don't need to logout. You don't maintain a connection while logged in or anything. If you don't logout then the next time you come to the site you'll automatically be on. I never logoff on my PC. The problem is probably that your machine has a cookie set and the new version of AOL is preventing the site from clearing it. There have been a lot of users that have had trouble with AOL's built in browser and the recommendation is to log in to AOL and then bring up IE and use that for your browser. You could clear the cookies in your browser which would for sure clear them out and then try logging back in.
