Got this one a month ago when I was driving a friend's Pete 379 out to Reno... This was just outside of Albuquerque, on an Indian Reservation. . And it was LOW sulfur 500 PPM!!!! It cut me off here, and we had to turn the pump off, then restart it to continue filling up! Enjoy!

That is the best one yet!! We need to start sticking these on the pumps we use, would be fun and make the news media I bet.

What price of fuel do you remember the most and what year was it?

I don't recall the exact price cuz I never paid attention to that then but DO remember I needed . 50 to fill-er up in 1972 when I was on reserve:

These are from closed stations on my route to work, and they were not the cheapest when they were open either.

My most memorable gas station story was when the (1973/1974?) embargo hit. I was working at a Sohio station and we had daily pump rations and when you hit the ration, the boss wanted us to park our cars in front of the pumps and keep the station open for service work. I think gas was about . 37 or so could be wrong on the $ though.

Back in highschool when i had my vw jetta diesel with a whole 52hp i know way to much HP to handle. i think i was paying around 1. 00 or little over for diesel:{ Wish i still had that car, no balls but it got 50mpg

I remember a gas "price war" in the mid-western states in the 50's, when driving on leave from Washington DC to California - paid 14 cents a gallon to fill up - then just further down the road, saw gas for 13 cents a gallon...

Shucks, that wouldn't even pay the TAX now! #@$%!

Winner Will Be Announced This Afternoon!

We'll announce the winner later today.

For the record, we purchased diesel yesterday at $4. 59 a gallon. Two weeks ago, we were at $4. 99 a gallon.

And The Winner Is ...

And the winner is . . . .

Post number #27 - Junior!

That $100 fuel card will be in the mail tomorrow!

After looking at these posts, I feel better about what we're paying in Atlanta.

Congratulations!

OK Junior, now put up a picture of your smiling face and the pump when that pump hits $100 and you get it courtesy of TDR, OK!

Assume The Position!

We spend a lot of money in fuel running a service/construction shop for ammoina refrigeration and somebody put this in the window, lol.
