I'm getting a constant shudder whenever I pull up to a stop with the air on. Once I let go of the throttle completely and coasted then hit it on the highway and it stalled. Does that often going from reverse to forward real quick.

It feels like idle speed too low when air is on cause with no air, it runs/idles good.

Is this iddle adjust and if so, how to do it? thanks

I'm assuming the second mark before 1k rpm is 500rpm, might be 750.

Without air in drive and stopped it idles at just below that notch +- 450 rpm.

With the air on it's just a little less, maybe another 25rpm less.

I think the tach is missing the 250 notch so it would be 500, 750, then 1k rpm on tach. So you would be describing about 700 rpm.

goober,

how did you make out on the adjust?

Remember, you want to have the idle in gear and a/c running set so it is at the first mark below the 1000 rpm mark or a little more. (approx 750-800 rpm)

Piece of cake, VC. Took about 10 minutes... 8 to find it and 2 to adjust. Turned it up about 1/4 turn and that's all it took.

Now idles at about a c. hair more than needle thick over the 750 mark and about the same under the mark in gear w/air at a dead stop. I think it's right on the edge so I'll let her go for a while and see.

Gotta thank you again  cause I think I would have never found that adjustment. I could hear it in that area, but couldn't see it right off.

We can thank Dodge for taking all the extra room in there for the anti-lock stuff.
