I have a 95 turbo diesel 2 wheel drive 2500 I have a shudder I have been thinking it was my transmission I have replaced the solenoid in transmission ,I have checked tps it ok, it seems to shudder when I go in to a turn sometimes hit a bump and sometimes the position of throttle well start it but it well quilt if I give it more fuel can this possibly be the carrier bearing ? thanks

How many miles on the carrier bearing & U-joints? Can you recreate the symptom by driving in a circle(or a figure 8) while coasting and then applying power?
Slide under the truck and check out the carrier bearing & U-joints for any movement.
I try to remember to use the KISS rule when trying to find a problem.{keep it simple stupid}

I don't know the miles on carrier bearing I just got the truck 4 mo. a go, but there is no play in it or u-joints. I t does it at 50 mpr just drifting along and you hit a bump or go in to a turn it will start it but if you give it more fuel it will stop shuddering ?

Sounds like Death wobble the way you say it starts? However that usually only stops by slowing down. Chris

I hope not I checked it out 3mo. ago when I replaced ball joints and it was ok . It wont do it until the trans get to about 150 to 160 then it will start
