I've got a new problem, and it only seems to happen when its cold outside (below 30). My truck will not get power to the ignition system. The lights will turn on, but the truck won't crank, no "Wait To Start" or WIF lights. If i go back inside and wait anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour, it will go back to normal. Haha, and get this, if I slam the hood closed, it'll get power. I've got a new battery and the connections to it are tight and clean. I don't know where to start looking. Oh, and it'll happen wether or not the block heater is plugged in. Any ideas?

I'd start looking right on the drivers fender. Sounds like you have a bad connection on a fusable link, or another wire. It might also be a bad ground, these critters are known for it. Have somebody watch the lights, then start to wiggle wires. Good Luck!

It sounds like a bad ground to me too.

Or install an automatic hood slamming device that is triggered when you shut the driver's door... :-laf
