Another great stride in customer service from the fass company... .

First they take the phone number from the website. Now they take away you from answering emails/pm's.

And of course the classic "this is the end all be all FASS system"

OH WAIT YOUR OLD PUMPS NO GOOD NOW BUY THIS NEW BETTER ONE!! :-laf :-laf

Oh yeah I forgot... NO WARRANTY ON BRUSHES THAT OUR SYSTEM EATS DUE TO A FAULTY SEALING SYSTEM THAT WE CREATED

What a SHAMEFUL WAY TO DO BUSINESS... .

THere I feel better now.

Dan, I know this is not your doing.

Welcome to 2006. Welcome to Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, and Costco. The general idea these days for business is to cut customer service (although in the case of the stores I listed, it's in exchange for lower prices).

Since I am relatively new to the Dodge diesel truck world, I'm not to familiar with this company, but I am familiar with the FASS. When I research products for my use, if I can't communicate DIRECTLY with the company, I find other products. Such is the case for Banks. They wouldn't respond to my questions, so I moved on to Edge.

If this company does not offer customer service, I will find a company who does [when I need to increase my fueling demands]. Fortunately, many quality companies still recognize the importance of quality customer service.

I don't go well with the idea of "don't contact us, we're too busy. "

I don't own a FASS. But, I appreciate the information being posted in a thread for all to see.

I just appreciate the tech and the ability to ask a quetion that others may find useful.

This is why we pay to be on these forums. Information exchange.

I'm with you on this!! I am a FASS customer only because of KEN IMLER he is my mechanic and I trust he knows what is best but, they're lack of communication seems to worsen as time goes on :( . I guess we owe them

Thats to bad. Just had a FASS installed and have some questions.

This takes the personal service out of customer service.

Seeing how discussions sometimes on here get out of hand and turn to bashing, one of my greatest fears is stating a problem with a product or a company in public that it might not be a problem, or I may have been confused about, etc. And now I have made a public statement about a product or company that could cause damage. I prefer to work it out man to man if there are issues that the world doesn't need to see.

transmission thread all over?

I just see this becoming a Transmission wars type of thing happening just for the reasons listed above not everyone on these forums is capable of keeping things civil... . Oh well like said before this is how many companies are changing maybe for the good maybe for not but we shall see won't we?

Hmmm! . . . . . Customer service 101 . . . . See Geno's Gararage ! They are continually re-writing the book on C U S T O M E R S E R V I C E

Give the guy a break. They are the vendor not your dealer that you bought from thats where your customer service should be. If your dealer wont answer your questions then find antoher one.

Dan I think that everyone here appreciates that you are trying to work with us and will post as you requested I think everyones stance is about how companies are doing this more and more and FASS has just joined the band wagon on de-personalizing the customer service; so I don't think you should take it as something against you at all it is just something we feel about the company. I do look forward to seeing many posts though and see how it all goes.

I am not on here to defend, fight or push our product... . i am here to support it and answer any questions anyone might have. Post a question, i will do my very best to reply to it in a timely matter. Work with me guys! I am doing the best with what i got to work with here! At least i am posting and replying to FASS threads. Could y'all even say that 3 months ago before I started working here?

So the way I understand this anyone that bought directly from the company at a show does not get access to tech support?

Just wanted to say Dan did an excellent job helping me out with my fass issues. He's now walking the tight rope of keeping us happy on one side, and keeping his employer happy on the other.

So here's the situation. . Dan = The good guy. Fass mgmt = (biting tongue here)

One suggestion. . How about making a more informative FAQ page on the FASS website. That might help out with redundant Q&A's. .

To Fass Mgmt: Repetitive questions are part of any business.

Seeing Brad in person. The man can eat a breakfast like no other ( saw one guy shake his head ) :-laf and he seems like a hell of a nice guy too

back to the problem at hand :-{}

Well this just stinks... and on top of everything i just found out from my "AUTHORIZED DEALER" how much it would cost to replace the old motor on my 500,000+ mile proven in the field, to the new even better, this will solve the problem, should have to worry about a thing now, brushless motor. Excuse me while I go puke!!!!!!!!!!!!! Live and learn I guess!!!!!!

Motor

Diesel Dan,

I would like to know what is the difference between the first motors and the new improved motors? If the brushs where out is that covered under the 4 year warrenty? I would also like to know how i raise the pressure of my FASSII pump? Thanks, Sam.
