Thats were I really get upset over my purchase. For the amount of money that the unit cost I shouldnt have to do a search on here to fix any trbl.
So the fact that for ANY OTHER REASON the TDR is useless to you because nothing else could possibly ever go wrong with your truck the way Dodge engineers saw it when they made it. :-laf

I wish I had saved alot of the old sales info I had. You know the stuff that really talked these things up with the mileage we would see out of them.
Remember the PE pumps? Or back in the day the HX40 being the last turbo you will ever need? Maybee even performance transmission company
(s) with Billet , Bullet , Grenade proof units? 6 seccond abs ,Marge soaked in it , Wheres the beef, SLICK 50! Look EVERY company tauts their charm to no end as they are wickedly pleased to release a solution to the ever hungry "better product buyer".
All I am saying is It did what it was supposed to do for many many people. Just the ones you hear about unfortunately are the bad ones... it's human nature. I am just as guilty to whine about the suck-fanny movie I sat thru . . But I sure never actually called Adam Sandler to congratulate him on the other great ones he did. (O. K Bad analogy But the Gist is there somewhere???)

I showed him the extra brushes, fuse, filter, and relay I carry just in case. He was still not convinced so I lifted the back seat and opened the box with the extra Carter pump for "just in case" on long out of town trips.
Got an extra VP44? Maybee a Cam sensor with you ... those can ruin your day real quicklike.

It was the service and attitude I got when my pump had issues.
That Sucks I agree there, and being a huge part in today's fiercely compettative buisness market. One area you really don't want to leave in the dirty would be service. Some companies out there rely on:
Exelent customer service to generate more buisness for themselves.
Some by word of mouth.
Some still rely on their product to to the "selling" for them.
Now take any of the above and change them up a bit and you will soon see where the laundry list for disaster can happen. This may be the case. The one sure fire thing that will keep both Happy and UNhappy people back would be reinforcement of the product A. K. A Customer Service.

When the solution to any $500 dollar product is to wack it with a hammer till we get ANOTHER set of caps and brushes out to you is the answer something is really wrong.
Dang that is funny :-laf Sadly it really is the only thing one can do ... until UPS figures out that Teleporter :-laf Then a hammer is not needed anyhow :-laf
I put on a F. A. S. S in Muncies Lee's Inn parking lot in '04. Wouldn't ya know it that thing has what 65,000 miles on it and is still as good as the 4AM Bolt on job that was done in the lot back then. To me it was worth every cent as I am sure it has been for many many others. Did it cure Aids . . No ... Fight Crime . . Ehhh nope. It did however move ALOT of fuel from the tank to the engine (A thirsty one at that) which by now could have been alot 'O' Dollers spent on oem pumps but wait I *Could* have left that stock too I suppose. I chose to Modify , Correct and hopefully address what is known to be a frail part of the fueling system of theese trucks.
Spent money On Dual carters. They both bit it. Spent ALOT of money on the PE4200 Setup with -8An lines (Had to have it ... it was the end all cure all) It blew up and left me stranded out in Muncie. On went the fass ... Now the RASP is the in,hip, cool, shiney, absolute cure all , blah blah some assembly required -batteries not included-see store for details thingy.
