Shutting off when using the remote start

Went to use the remote start, truck started but then shut off, had a message that the remote start had been disabled and to start to reset. Well did that and now it shows a CEL.
Reset and did it all over still shutting off and showing a CEL, any ideas and any one had the same problem. Just had an oil service and reflash for harsh down shifting and also drove it 60 miles with trailer and no problems.??? A little over 10K..Truck did sit for a week before this started....

Working as designed......remote start will not work if hood is open or if any CEL's are present.

Also won't work if low on fuel .

Need to find out what is causing the CEL Like others said, low fuel or CEL will shut off remote start

Well it's not the fuel or hood so I will look at it in the daylight. Had no CEL the last time I drove it.

With the dealer scan tool there is a remote start inhibit monitor that lists the last several reasons for the failure.

Well took truck in yesterday, they found code U3017, control module timer / clock performance. They Flashed PCM as per TSB 18-030-14 REV B. and DCU as per TSB 18-010-14 REV. A.
Then had them reprogram the Antilock Brake Module. P26 Recall - 18P26182 - 0.20 Flashed ABS. No luck on the Fuel Heater Recall, no parts yet...
All works fine... the joy of a new truck.. Happy New Year.
