Shuttle is going to land in my neck of the woods

Well I just heard the landing at Kennedy was scrubbed and it is now going to land at Edwards AFB!Guess putting up with all the heat and dust has some rewards!

Heard a big bang this morning - thought it was an earthquake but it must have been the sonic boom.

Man that thing shook the whole house!I tried to see it but it was to dark,Have seen some of the day time landings,pretty cool.

I checked the Edwards AFB site yesterday, they were closing the base to allow military business only (no public shuttle viewing). Despite having an ID, I decided not to make the drive, based upon that. Would have been nice though, stop at Domingo's in Boron on the way back. Love that place!
