How I broke in my Cummins

Towing Less Than 10k with Auto/3.54

Stopped to fuel up at Sierra Sids in Sparks Nevada this morning. No attendant in the shack by the pumps. Sign to pre pay at the register in the store. Found the register. Big sign at the left of the register indicating to pay here. Stood there about 3 minutes. Ignored. Tried to pas $40 bucks to the cashier. Nasty surley ***** said 'go to the end of the line'. Told here to off' and left. I don't do business with people who treat me rudely. Just passing along my experience. I won't go back.

Hmmm. been there dozens of

times. No problems like that.

I'll be up there this weekend. I'll see if I get the same treatment. No go with my cash if that happens.

I am always either East bound on 80 and then North on 395 or vice versa. I always stop at Boom Town but never have been impressed with the fuel prices there. Is any place just East of Reno cheaper than Boom Town? We do however sleep there a lot and the security patrols of the casino is a plus.

Where is the Alamo in Sparks?

My problem with Sierra Sids was the ATTITUDE of the woman at the register. All she had to do was grab my $40 and turn the pump on. The way she directed me to the end of the line was unacceptable. Also I was standing AT THE SIGN that said to pre-pay here.

Sparks Blvd. . next exit to the east on south side of freeway. . has another large truck stop... I assume it's the alamo that Eric refers to. . I don't remember the name of it [mind says Texaco though]

Baldini's(sp?) south of I-80 off Rock something Blvd (same street as 4WPW). Not 'just off' 80 but a local told me it's the cheapest place in Reno - I've filled up there a couple of times.

It's a truck stop so the 36ft 5th wheel wasn't a problem.
