How long should it take to eat a whole box of Thin Mints?

You can believe this or not

Does anyone here own one? Anyone tried out a SIG P226 in . 22? I was looking at one this weekend and liked the idea of the full frame pistol with the . 22 for practice. They offer kits to convert to 9mm and . 40S&W with a top end and magazine swap which I thought was cool.

Anyone have any experience to share?

dont have one but it is great for practice, with the low cost of ammo you can get very proficiant with the weapon... good for ccw type carry

P226 is a fine gun, and the factory . 22LR version shoots reliably.

Shop around, as sometimes you can purchase a slightly used P226 in 9mm, . 40, or . 357SIG and then buy the Sig . 22LR converison kit cheaper than buy going the other route.

For awhile in late 2009-early 2010 Sig was offering coupons with purchases of new . 22LR P226's for the owner to buy the 9mm, . 40, or . 357SIG kits for like $399 or something like that.

Some of the guns that came with the coupons are still available at retailers for sale, and Sig still honors the coupon. Just FYI...
