Has anyone recently purchased the new signature series 5th wheel hitch from reese? This is their version of the Pullrite no bed rail set up and it is available for the 2wd 3500 04 truck, can't find the mounting brackets . ,supply shortage. Any info appreciated.

I was looking at those hitches the other day. I emailed Reese to see if they plan on building a gooseneck plate to go with that setup because I need to be able to tow both. Their response was an 800 number without any answers to the questions I asked. The whole reason I email is so I don't have to sit on hold to talk to someone who has no idea about the product.

Why not buy a Pulrite? I have the 20. 5 and it is great. Removes nicely and I can slide my Lance tc in without any problems. Pulrite does a class job. If you have a short bed that slidder that they make is the greatest. I can not think why anyone with a short bed truck would want not have a auto slidder. I have a 99 truck so maybe they do not make a hitch for the o4s.

Pullrite only makes the the super brackets and super rails for the

4x4 trucks. They do make an above bed rail set-up for the 4x2 trucks and if i must go this route I will most likely keep my 15k Reese hitch that I already have.
