Is there anyway to tell if your torque converter is slipping? Doesn't seem to be, but it does rev fairly high when I get on it. But I can't feel any slippage.

I have an Attitude box and want to be relatively safe.

Now before you say it, I don't have an Attitude monitor. (Also, have had my truck reprogrammed for larger tires and the attidude will not work. ) :)

Thanks.

How did I know my converter was slipping?

My whole truck would shutter when it would go in to lock up. You'll know when it slips bad. After that first time you are counting down the days to a toasted transmission. Do your rpms rev high when the torque converter is locked up and you step on it?

No, just on a hard excelleration from a relatively slow speed.

Maybe its just that these things get so loud after about 2200 rpm.

I just wanted to know what to watch out for.
