Silcone Hose kits....need help.

Okay guys the vendor I found is interested in makaing a hose kit for our trucks but needs a set of hoses to use as a pattern. I don't suspose anyone out there has a complete set of hoses for the 24v trucks laying around do they?? or have a dealer/buddy that would loan us a set?? or know a cheap place for me to buy a set?? or know where I could get the dimensions for all the hoses and blue prints????



I am going to go buy Cummins NW today and see if they can help but I doubt they will have all the hoses and I really hate to buy a complete set and then buy a set of silicone hoses to replace all mine.



One other thing, they vendor is sending me a color chart so I can see the options, once I get it I will post a poll and see what the most popular color is. I would love to see some red hoses to match my valve cover. . but that is just me.

I will let you know as soon as they are available. I need to find a set for them to copy. I am trying not to have to go out and buy an entire set from the dealer... ..... Anyone have hoses off a wrecked truck or ???????

Since you are making the effort to get this hose kit together for our Rams, why don't you add in the cost of the factory hoses to the price? If the company is making a custom set for us, let them raise the price to cover the cost. I assume that there will have to be a minimum order placed for the silicon hose sets. Make it known that the order will be placed when X number of people anti up. I know I will be one who will go in on this.

A bunch of guys have asked about the price of this set and I still have no idea. But to give you an idea I asked about the price for a set they alredy sell. The kit for a Mustang 5. 0 consists of 6 hoses (two big, four small), and retails @ $249. 00. So I am guessing a set for our trucks could be double this?? We have alot of big hoses on ours and I assume these are the expensive ones. I know we want all the air intake hoses and then the radiator hoses and then maybe the heater hoses??



I guess I need to start another poll and see what people really want if it is going to cost $500 bucks to to it... .

Okay guys I went out and looked at my truck. Here are the hoses as I think need to be in the kit.



Air Intake - 4 hoses

Cooling - 2 large hoses from Rad to block and back.

Heater - 2 small hoses near firewall above turbo.



Does any one see any more they would like added to the set up? I am going to go to Cummins/Stealer early next week and buy them all and send em off to have the first set made for fit testing.

The Stealer called yesteday to let me know all the hoses I orderd are in. (WOW some of those suckers are $$$$) Now I have to send them to the vendor for him to copy. We are getting closer...

Don't forget the little ones for the heater hose at the front,one at the top,near thermostat housing,and the return,near the lower rad hose. Also if you have an auto there are 4 more for the trans cooler or heat exchanger (eng outlet,two at heat enchanger,and one near lower rad hose). Most of these are just little straight or 90 degree pieces of 5\8 hose,so they shouldn't be anything too special. I just had mine all apart,I guess I should have taken measurements... ...

Bigarmguy - The hoses I have are the four for the air intake system, two for the rad (big ones in and out) and the two for the heater that go into the firewall on the passenger side. I will have to take another look for the one by the thermostat and get one of those orderd up.



The transmission lines are a pain as some guys don't have the auto and we are trying to keep this simple. I am sure the vendor has bulk straight hose that could be purchased for these if someone wants them.
