making a long trip today and wanted to keep the trip as comfortable as possible so in goes the ring. went to lunch and Im barking the turbo without

trying. never barked it with the ring out. got the same boost and egt's.

anyone have a similar experience. superchip died so its stock fueling too.

That sounds like it is an overboost problem, I was noticing you have a boost fooler in your sig. I have noticed it when I am on the trottle hard and have to let off quick. Just an idea.

I think a boost fooler would make you're turbo easier to bark also. When I first put my comp in I barked the turbo with the box on 1x5. Just my thoughts. Good luck

well im hitting 25lbs of boost now as Im set up again no superchip.

so overboost Im guessing its not, I dont really have a problem with the turbo bark, just seemed a little weird that It'll only bark when the silencer ring is in. thought maybe Its flowing better or worse with it in but there isnt any change in performance, boost or temps. got a funky turbo I guess.

It's an auto right? With the HY? I noticed that when i pulled my silencer ring it doesn't bark as easily. Thought it was just my imagination but maybe not... .

If I am under load towing or rapid acceleration my KSB1b barks on the shift into 4th. I let off the go pedal about 40 mph just before the shift, let it shift and then get back on it.

There is a turbo bypass system to prevent that I think, but sort of pricey.
