silencer ring?

if i remove the silencer ring can i put it back in?can i reuse the orignal snap ring or will i have to get a new one?on the 06's is the ring on the turbo? and are there any airflow restrictions in the intake tubes on the air filter?any input will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Yes , Yes , Should be If you consider the cross section pieces to silence the turbo then yes

dont really know what the silencer ring will do for you other than sound. but the silencer tube being replaced to a straight through one will help with sound and some power too! yes you can put the ring back in. your stock air filter is pretty restrictive as well. look for one that filters as well as it flows! hope this helps. :-laf

where is the ring on the 05 and how hard is it to remove? How much will the sound change?
