I have found a company that may be interested in making a "kit" for our trucks and I need to get a handle on how many guys would be interested in a kit. There are a couple of options, vote for the one you like.

I have no idea what the kits would cost but I would guess they will be spendy as the hose itself is like 20 bucks a foot, then add the funny shapes etc. If there is enoguh interest and my source is interested I will supply more info. So what I am saying is I have no idea what they will cost or when they would be available.

Here is a pic of some current hoses they offer

Maybe....

Would we be offered any other color choices? If so, which?

Sorry, I just don't care for that shade of blue.....

Charge Air hoses

JR2,

I was doing some research on this too.

Our 2 str8 hoses (airhorn & Turbo outlet) are 3" ID "hump" hose and about 3. 150 long. (Note: I'm running a 3" (length) silicon hose on the intake horn and it's a little short. )

The PITA hoses are the 2 intercooler connections. They are 3" to 4" transition hoses, but are specially molded, or custom "bent" (for Dodge) to make the corner. Maybe a 45 or 30 degree angle?

I might be interested in ANY ONE of the combinations above.

It all boils down to PRICES.

Hopefully there will be a big interest!!!

I've got silicone on my turbo hoses and heater hoses and like the life expectancy of silicone. As a 1st gen owner with 140,000+ on my truck I would be interested in all other hoses being silicone as well. I plan on keeping my truck for many years to come.

Bob :)

May want to check your measurements again... I am pretty sure they are 3. 5" to 3" elbow-type hoses. :D

Evan is right. The two lower intercooler hoses are NOT 4" to 3', rather they are 3. 5" to 3". I recently found and bought some premade silicone hoses that are used on a big rig application (at $50 each) and found out when I took it all apart that the intecooler outlet is 3. 5" not 4". Doh! They didn't list any 3. 5"s in their books.

With the wall strength that these silicone hoses have. , the two lowers absolutely have to have the 45* bend in it to assemble it correctly.
