SilverBullet.....64

After going back and forth trying to decide on either a Silver62 or SilverBullet(66), I called II and talked to Brandon for awhile. I asked about something in the middle of the two turbo's, and wouldn't you know if... BANG... he said they are just kinda testing a Silver64. Only one other one out there and I'm going to be number two. I cannot wait. I'm stoked... Psyched up... Ready to bust some knuckles... :-laf

Do you know if this will be only for the CR or with there be 12 and 24v versions aswell?

I honestly don't know. But I'm sure if you call them up, they'd tell you... They seem like very good people to work with...



btw- someone elsewhere mentioned that 64 turbos tend to surge more. Anyone here know anything about that? It makes no sense to me. I don't tow anyway, so I don't think I need to worry either way.

Since you do not tow you probably will be very happy. I would have most likely went that route if not for the surging issues that most people complained about while towing. The 62 behaves absolutely wonderful towing my 5vr.



You will have lag, especially with an auto, with the 62, I count one thousand one, one thousand two, then she lights. It just takes a slight modification in driving habits.
