SIMPLE homemade SPARE TIRE electric hoist conversion !!!

This is WAY too cool to NOT post...

A guy on CF used about $60 worth of parts to add an electric gear motor to raise and lower his 3rd gen spare tire !!!!

ONLY thing I would add is a ratchet start as a secondary lock, but I even do that with the oem cable winch!!!
And maybe a couple insulate terminals on his fuse relay...

Yup...he had to do something cuz he put a Tommy Lift gate on his truck.
