Never would I have guess we could do what I just saw this afternoon: 22. 5's on a pickup!!! I spotted it in a parking lot, a dark blue F350 dually 4door 4x4... didnt seem to be raised any. Used Alcoas all polished up with a brand new set of Generals (front steers) in 255/70/22. 5!!! all the way around. Man, is that WAY COOL lookin'!! Truck also had a 5" exhaust tip in stock location, but I didnt look underneath very much; folks around here arent very friendly... was wondering if it was an adaptor kit or just how he did it with the big lugs and wide pattern. Anybody ever see anything like this? Those tires would last the life of the truck!!

He needs the bigger wheels and tires for less rolling resistance for when he gets towed back to the dealer :rolleyes: :eek: :{

BCfast,

I'm just funnin' around... ..... I'm actually a Ford convert and I bet the 22. 5's looked awesome.

I bet it did look cool. I may be wrong but I think the fl 60 and 70's from frieghtliner have those tires. I wonder how they would ride?

That's an awsome look on the 1st Gen... but it looked better on the Ford. At first I thought they were 19. 5's, but the longer I looked I thought, "dang! Those REALLY fill up those wheel wells". The Dodge pic above looks more like a 'Monster Truck' to me; on the F350 the 22. 5's looked... . bad.

Guys, here in St. Louis MO, we have a truck club. That club is The Land Of Giants. These guys, and I am Proud to include myself in this group, build Trucks of every make and model. Our president has a 96 Cummins powered Four door one ton that runs 22. 5s, and there are a few others with these wheels and tires. This is an awesome achievement in itself, but the fact that they use these trucks and our club to raise monies for St. Judes research hospital makes it even better. If anyone would be interested, you can go to www.thelandofgiants.com , for more information about the club and pictures of some of these monsters.
