As I sit here celebrating (on my 2nd cerveza) the successful installation of my FP gauge this weekend, I would like to issue a heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who have posted about this topic—I’ve probably read all of 2nd gen stuff that’s here. A personal thank you goes to Gary up in Oregon for his good pics and letting me know an AC hose will work just as well as braded SS. After the completion, I fired her up to see if everything worked and what the pressure was---9 @ idle; less than I had hoped. Since I had 5000 miles on the filter, I changed it to see if it helped, then took her for a spin. 11. 5 @ idle, 8 @ cruise, 5 @ WOT. From my extensive reading here, I know that the LP can go at any time (43305 showing), so is the telltale sign of a sure ‘nuff dying LP, erratic behavior and a significant drop in pressure? The gauge is rock steady now. Just checking. Thank you all again. Dan
