single gauge column pod???

Does anyone on here have decent pics of how the single gauge pod for on the steering column looks?



I have an EGT in an SRT10 pillar, and would like to add a boost gauge to the column, but I'm not sure how the mount looks.

I had bought a single mount, but I ended up doing this instead. Its a little bit cleaner looking in my opinion.

I had to put the pyro on the column because the fitting on the back of the bboost gage wouldn't allow the gage to go all the way in to the mount (it curves down behind the gage.

It wasn't too bad to get to. I took that part of the dash off and got it out of the truck. I ran a hole saw through a thin piece of wood first, then C clamped it to the desired spot and ran the saw through again. There is a bit of plastic to trim behind the panel for clearance (no metal to cut), but it was very minor. I used a dremel with a small round wheel for this. I got power for the pyro's control box from the former lighter wiring, and mounted the box with a zip tie to the metal panel behind the knee blocker.

i've got my pyro mounted where the cigg. lighter plug was too... i used a dremil tool with a diamond burr to cut the hole after tracing a 2" hole onto the panel. in this link, i have some pictures of it mounted and some pictures of what needed to be trimmed inside the dash to allow the gauge to mount depth wise...
