2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Single Straight Pipe Exhaust that exits Before the Rear Wheel.... ??

Well, I did it. My tailpipe was rotted out and I had to do something quick.

Anyways, it sounds freaking awesome, but it is LOUD AS HELL!!

Oh yea. And I do have (1) BLACK rim now from all the soot and there IS a fairly annoying drone a 2K RPM.

I think for now I'm going to extended the pipe out another 10-12" or so and put a down turn tip on it.

Later on, I may go ahead and put another tailpipe on it.

What do you mean by different angles ??

With the 6" tip on pointed straight back I find it to be pretty tolerable. I don't do a lot of 70MPH+ freeway driving, but it's not bad at all. That tip really helps deepen the tone and increase the sound.



I'll try to attach a pic of it pointing out to the side and/or hidden. Too bad to spend $80 on a tip and not even see it!! Pointing to the side though seemed to annoy people even more.



The sound now is "enjoyed" by cars on both sides (passed and coming from the other way). with it shootin' straight back. I've gotta have someone else drive this thing so I can really know what it sounds like! I'm just basing it on the echo factor.



No smoke inside the cab, unless I back up fast.
