Sirius artist/song title on RBQ radio

I noticed a thread on installing an XM after market kit that also displayed artist/song title. My question is has anyone ever tried to make the OEM Rbq with Sirius do the same thing? I guess what I would like to know, is there anyone out there with knowledge of an after mkt kit that can accomplish this?

I did a ton of research on this for months and the XM direct kit will do it. I tried it on my 05 RBQ before installing it on my friends 03 so I know it works.

If you want Artist and Song title using Sirius, you need the RB1 Nav unit or a separate PnP unit unless its on an 06 model cuz I think I read where 06 head units will display that info.



I find it odd Sirius has not come out with a simple devise like the XM direct that will work on our trucks OEM radios. The factory add on Sirus is way more money and you don't get that info. . bummer.
