I installed the factory Sirius setup and I am having a wierd problem. Every once in a while when I turn the truck on, I get complete static from the Sirius mode. The only way to fix it is to turn the ignition off, wiggle the wires on the receiver, and turn the igition back on. I have played with the wires a lot and I can't get it to fix the problem. Anyone have a similar problem and figure how to fix it?

Mine does the same thing. I haven't tried any wire wiggling, but the one observation I've made is that no matter how many times I try to go back to Sirius on that ignition-on cycle, the problem is still there. Next normal ignition-on it's always fine, but if I try to just cycle the truck off, then right back on, it doesn't help.

My neighbor and I both have Sirius in our Dodge trucks. Mine works fine and always has. I helped him install his. Worked for first few days fine and then started the problem you are describing. Took the tuner back to Dodge and exchanged for a new one. The new one has worked fine.

You need to check the sexual orientation of your unit. If you have a straight truck the problem may be with the "OUT Q" channel.

I won't work on my truck either.

In fact, Sirius gave me my money back for the subscription when I explained that I had a straight truck. :D

Just another great reason to use a PnP... that channel has been deleted on my unit. :-laf
