Anybody know where the Sirius receiver is located on a 2012 Ram? I am wanting to install an aftermarket antenna out on the front hood area for when I have the camper on.

I would imagine they are like the 2010 I had. I have the radio out of it and there are two antennae connections on the back of it. I believe the antennae connects directly to the radio.

My 2011 seems to have the satellite antenna on the rear of the cab on the passenger side, quite prominent if you look, a moderately sized lump.

From a post on the Lance (truck camper) Owners of America forum:

Go to the right passenger side floor space (where the passenger's right foot would rest) of the 2010 Dodge Ram truck. Take a screw driver and pop out the plastic floor "kick plate" located along the side at the edge of the carpet next to the seat.

You will now see two antenna plugs. One is a pretty big cable and a metal plug for the AM/FM radio, in case that antenna ever has to be replaced. The other is yellow plastic and is for the satellite radio antenna, in case some one wants to plug in an external antenna so he can get Sirius Channel 74--when his camper is on the truck, you know (not too much to ask, is it)?

Just unplug it and you can plug in an auxiliary antenna--either on the front of your truck someplace or atop the camper--either for use when your camper is on the truck.

I chose the SRTMM-01 Satellite Radio Truck Antenna by Pana-Pacific and mounted it on a high point on the camper. I run the cable (much smaller than the AM/FM co-axial cable) down through one of the truck windows.
