I just finished installing a kenwood sirius satellite radio tuner and FM modulator in my truck. Crutchfield has a pretty good deal on right now, buy the antenna and head unit or FM modulator and get the tuner for free.

The install is pretty easy except routing the antenna wire. I went in via the 3rd brake light and out the rear lower seat belt hole. If you get the angle just right with a fish it isn't bad. Go from inside to out...

I will never listen to another commercial again!

Cheers,

Drew

I agree with that... I've had my Sirius in since December. Three long 1000+ mile trips, and I'll never go without again!

I also just realized you can stream it off their website onto your computer. Good stuff.

satellite radio

XM here, too. Alpine unit with a Terk SR1 through the glass antenna (similar to a cell phone antenna). what is LOCAL radio?? with rebates, mine cost about $180 including the antenna, but i installed it myself.

The only bad thing...........

is they keep changing channels around, and I have yet to find anywhere on their website where you can download a complete channel list that's usable. Makes it tough to find the 15-20 channels you actually wanna listen to in all the rest of that crap. Turntablism??? Gimme a break.

Ended up making my own in Excel, using copy/paste. If anybody wants it, PM me.
