Sirius song info display?

I have a 06 2500 with the single cd radio with my free year of sirius going on it and would like to know if anyone knows of how to display the song and channel information like the other 99% of satellite radios display. If there is not a way on the head unit itself has someone been able to take the information provided by the unit and display it on an external LCD?

on my 6 cd there is a button that says info. do you have one like that?

My single disc had no other info , just channel number. I upgraded to the REC/NAV.

my unit does not have an info button. I wanted to know if there was a way by either a simple wiring mod to the unit or making an extra display for it. I'm not really looking to buy a new unit for it but to improve on the one already there.

No way to do it I think because Dodge put a piece of junk radio in a $40,000 truck.

The only good thing about the unit is I have the AUX port for my MP3 player, so correct me if I am wrong there is no possible way to display the info on the unit or even display the station info from FM stations either? what a pos if thats the case. If you can't display the sirius info has any computer/electrical engineers thought about coming up with a small external display to display such information or am I the only one to get that far yet?

I second that! The speakers are also TERRIBLE!!! That's a soon-to-be-upgraded item for me... .
