Water pump question

Now that I have my Northern Lite slide in truck camper on my truck, it covers the Sirius XM antenna. They make magnetic antennas that I can stick to the front of the hood. Someone said the antenna plug in behind the glove box. When I took my lower glove box out, there was nothing in there that looked like an antenna coax. Any ideas where I might locate where the antenna plugs into the truck?

Thank you,

If you scroll down to page 3 you will see I recently posted the same question and received a few responses. Not certain if it will help but take a look.

I had the antenna replaced on my 2014, they had to pull the radio to run the wire. I did find a picture of the back of the 8.4N.

I just purchased a new Northstar 850SC pop up. It has a longer cabover section for a north south bed and partially covers the antenna. I have not decided yet what I will do, if anything. I can live without the radio but might want to have the nav when out on the road. Putting a puck on the hood does not appeal to me either as I will have the camper off the truck more than on. I do plan to go to dealer and another camera. I miss the back up camera more than I thought.

Yes, the back up camera is very handy. Cost me about $300 for the Dodge camera and the two tailgate harnesses. Then I wound up adding 17 inches of wire to the one harness. My camper hangs 48 inches past the bed. When I put it in reverse, I can see everything I could before! When you mount the camera, understand that it points down like the one in the tailgate does. Had to adjust mine to the same angle as it sits in the tailgate, to get the lines in the correct place! Enjoy that new camper!

Thanks for the tip on the angle of the camera. I didn't think of that. I have a question about you buying two harnesses. Are there two in the tailgate? One for the camera and one to hook up to the body wiring? Need to know when I order and if you might still have part numbers that would help as well. Can't have too much info waling in to a parts counter.

Yes, there are two harnesses in the tail gate. Here are the parts you need. The longer harness is part number 6828 0926 AA - 00. The longer harness actually has two pieces, they include the part that plugs into the harness from under the truck bed, but you don't really need that section, because it is already on the truck. I took a short piece of 2" X 2" aluminum angle and cut a square hole in it and mounted the camera. Will have to take a picture of it when it stops raining.

Here are the pictures of my back up camera installation from underneath the rear of our Northern Lite. Note: the wire that plugs into the camera, points to the driver's side of the truck for proper orientation. For some reason my pictures sometimes get turned 90 degrees???

Went to a dealer yesterday and tried to use the part numbers CWade gave us in the post but in pulling up cameras and harnesses by those numbers, it showed those for a 2016. With a lot of superseded numbers. Then tried by my vin and 2014. Came up with different numbers for the harness and more camera numbers that were different???????? He had a camera in stock that matched one of the numbers but had to order a harness from Los Angeles. Coming tomorrow. I am hoping this works. Seems there have been a lot of numbers for these items but how different can they be? Makes me a little nervous that maybe the item in stock is a camera that gave owners problems in the past. Should know something this weekend if I get the correct wiring. Tried to tell him I needed both wire looms and all he could do was show me pictures. So if I get the loom(s) previously shown, I should have a working camera again. The camera No. I got is 5603 8978 AJ. Made in Mexico 07-20-15.

There are direct plug in cameras on eBay...search rostra camera. *I mounted mine high on my Northern Lite ladder. *Works great!
