Site Gone ???

I havent been able to bring it up for a couple of weeks.

I have recieved notification of some private messages so I know someones getting on but when I try all I get is Cannot find server etc...

Try connecting to the site at a different locations. Like if it wont work at home, try at work. Or at a buddy's house. Sometimes an Internet service provider will get banned from certain internet locations due to spam. If it were me, and it worked at a different locations nearby, I would call my internet service provider and ask "What the hell!??"

Well I finally got the site to come up at a friends house. All mu home and work computers are on dsl or a cable modem and none of them will get on. My friend and his crappy laptop w/dialup did though ???

Dialup Rocks !! I am on a 24. 4K dialup. To remote for anything else and to many trees for Sat. ha ha ha.

Wow. Your way out there with really old phone lines. Heck, were all about high speed out in the mountains of Oregon! I usually connect at 31. 2 kbps :-laf. The phone lines are from the early 70's, and there not getting upgraded until they fail the phone company said.



The sucky part is 2 miles down the road is DSL, and a few miles farther is cable internet...

Ha Ha, Almost the same her, only worse. We still have the old lead cable with paper insulation from the 1930's. Verizon wont replace it, just repairs sections. 1 mile, count that, 1 mile away they have dsl. Arrrrg.

Guess I should be happy with my 49. 2-50. 6 connection. Try being 1/3 mile from cable or dsl and 300 yards from a decent school district. :{



I have to move this year to get my oldest into an average school district, but currently live 300 yards from one of the best in the state. 5 miles to closest elementary but currently would have to drive 16(no busses available) to take them to one of the worst in the state.
