Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

It is only after leaving the page up for a while, when checking a posting link, or being away from the computer for a while, then coming back to where I was. Never did this before the site was updated. Anything that I need to do, or something needing changed on your end?

Thanks for the help, it is getting a bit annoying. Other than that, the changes have been great. :D

That will happen if you don't have any activity for 15 minutes. The system saves searches and clears them out after 15 minutes of inactivity. If you do a refresh that should keep it active.

You need to refresh it within that 15 minute window and keep refreshing within 15 minutes - did you do that or did you just hit refresh before continuing on?

bmoeller, I have the same problem, so it is not on your end. It gets annoying when you are trying to read the new posts, because when you go back to them, they are not there.

That's the problem - unless you have activity within 15 minutes the search will go away. It is a function of the software. With the old version of the software when you were on a search page it was a live search every time. That was why you could hit refresh on the view new posts screen and get posts that were posted since you did the search. With this version of the software searches are saved and results come off of that saved search which lessens the load on the server. I do have on my to do list to come up with the ability to do a search back to a specific time so that you could do a manual search back to the last time you were on if you wanted to but it's far down the list.

Radshooter - if you are reading new posts and you are on a long post that is taking you more than 15 minutes to read just hit refresh occasionally and it will take you right back to where you were reading and keep the search active.

Thanks Steve. My biggest problem is when I am working the night shift at the hospital. I read TDR during the slow times, but sometimes I have to go do silly stuff like take an X-Ray or two for the ER. Don't they know I am in the middle of something important??? Thanks for your help. Keep up the good work.
